Intriguing! I haven't had a chance to study the DVD yet, but I have mixed feelings about this. The back of the house looks like the house that Gina walks out of, and the lawn and pool area looks right. But I don't feel the background is right. Isn't Palm Island too far away? And I don't see anything matching the exterior setup shots. I'm looking forward to studying this tonight... The problem with my Sunset Island #2 theory is that we see behind Ramirez a few times and there's no bridge visible. We should see the bridge to Sunset Island #1. |

To me palm island looks right. The angle on the causeway looks good as does to the tip of the island. note the tower on the house in the bg palm island is still there matches up nicely. Next chance I get maybe sunday early before the race I will go to palm island and look accross to see if it looks good, maybe the red sculpture will still be there. The opening shot I think based on really nothing more than a wag is a completely different unrelated house elsewhere

Do I see cranes behind Gina as she sits down? That would confirm MacArthur. However, the house and lawn look totally wrong. And the neighbors had heavy shrubs in the ep, but now there is very little. Who ever heard of these folks reducing their privacy? |

Take a look at the scene where Gina & Trudy come to arrest Ramirez.
Recognize the spiral staircase? Why, it's the same spiral staircase
from the house on Hibiscus Island from "Killshot!" Case closed, maybe?

Great minds think alike! I was just about to edit my previous post to say that the Killshot house is well positioned with respect to background island and MacArthur. [edit] Indeed it is the same interior! Great eye for detail, DanJ the Mang.
In addition to the spiral staircase, note the wood panel ceiling and the glass bricks. Shall we say that DanJ used GE3.1 to solve this case?

Ya never can tell what GE3 will turn up. Take a gander at these views,
taken when GE3 was sussing out "Killshot" and now they have turned into
comparison shots for "Give A Little...":
![]() Click On Picture To Enlarge When Gina first visits Ramirez she comes out of the back of the house. Here we see the doorway and steps she walks down. ![]() Click On Picture To Enlarge Then she sits with Ramirez out in the back yard. Although not an exact replica picture, this is nevertheless a view from the same back yard. Things have changed a bit over the last 20 years (Actually, things changed from one season to the next - the loading cranes in this picture can be seen in "Killshot" but for some reason were not visible in "Give A Little..."), but you should spot some similarities. To be clear, this is on Hibiscus looking south by southeast towards the east tip of Palm Island and the MacArthur Causeway in the background. ![]() Click On Picture To Enlarge When Gina goes to Ramirez' "dinner party" which turns out to be a setup for her and Ramirez to be alone, we see the two of them from the second floor looking down. The pic above is as close to that view as I - er, GE3, have archived. ![]() Click On Picture To Enlarge When Gina & Trudy come to bust Ramirez we see the spiral staircase, almost the same as we see it later in "Killshot." Now, I still maintain that the scene where they load Ramirez' body into an ambulance was filmed elsewhere (Sunset Island?). As of this writing IMO the building, driveway, etc. in that scene do not look like the spiral staircase house on Hibiscus (Unless there was some remodeling done to the house between episodes.). Next location from "Give A Little..." that is throwing me for a loop is the park(?) where C&T meet with Noogie and Trick Baby. Any ideas? |

I guess the last scene where the load Ramirezī body into the ambulance was filmed at the same house used in the beginning of "Whatever works" at 10337 E.Broadway Drive, Miami Beach. The front looks the same.

Love it! By the way, this is the view where you can compare the wood panel ceiling in both Killshot and Give A Little:
Yup, DanJ had identified this earlier in the thread, he just forgot. |

Since they filmed at Club Ocho might they have used Gomez park on Calle Ocho for Trick Baby park? I just posted this episode on my location site at http://www.sffl.comcastbiz.net
