Ep. 10 give a little take a little

Gina's was on the second floor  rear corner of the northern building. It was called the twins now the Arcadia.

ok ok ok airtommy is ready so I guess it is time I was just reading another post on the subject that I just responded to explaining that streets in the United States are supposed to have addresses assigned based on the distance from the central post office of that town or city and most are.  In Mia Bch the lots are assigned address in numerical order ascending as they rise from the southern tip of sobe headed north.  Now in give a lttle give a little more LOL LOL the building accross the side st has an address like 742 from memory but I know I'm close)  It also shows that her complex is on the corner.  The scene from when c+t pull up showing the 742 address runs uncut untill the adress of 1215 (from memory again but close enough) is revealed on gina's building.  This means that ginas intersection is either 7 blocks north of the south tip of mia bch and 12 blocks from the coast or 12 blocks up from the south tip and 7 blocks from the beach.  In bought and paid for the chase starts from her apt and one can see that accross the street there are no buildings, the street is tree lined. Bingo!!  there you have the location.  Accross the street from the park from Lombard where he meets his kid on the track. Thru these episodes  one can also see the basic design of the building as well as other details.  I can tell you the circular railings are the same as are the circular windows.  The pavers that I call little toomb stones still line one side of the concrete walkway as they did then.  same stones and same design drawn into the concrete.  There is an ugly fence around it now so c+t can't get out of the daytona and stroll up the side anymore.  They are being converted to condos.  I am said to say that I am unable to extend myself at this time to buy anymore places for at least 6 months so I will have to pass  Gina's is for sale and it remains virtually unchanged at the north east corner of 7th and 12th (meridian)

soflajeremy: thx for finding Gina´s apartment and posting the pics! But where is the location? It seems that it is not a the (geographic) beginning of the car chase in Bought and paid for...

At about the 0:58 mark, there is a location that should be easy to figure out, but I had to rack my brains for a while. A black man and black woman argue on the side of a road. Signs in the background say "To I-95 Int'l Airport", "I-195 East Miami Beach", and "27 North to Hialeah". I think they are on the corner of Biscayne Blvd. and NE 39th St. They are marked with the red "X". The green "X" marks what should be the "Casa Bella" building that can be seen in the background. That's VERY cool! I wonder if maybe his real estate agent told him about the MV history as part of the sales pitch.

That's not a "by the way" comment!!! THE Hulk Hogan??? Did you mention to him the Miami Vice history of the house?

btw airtommy my wife and I went to sunset island to take pics of the houses you found and posted.  As we pulled in I stopped because I noticed that hulk hogan was out in his back yard washing down his boat.  Figured we would say hello  nice guy he had done some work to the boat and had just returned from testing it out and was putting it "up".  cool

I gave some clues to Gina's in another post I think under questions for r2  but since I went there last sunday I figured  I would post some pictures  It is under reconstruction so it limited the photo ops but it was still very cool being there as it is with the exception of a fence and no Gina very much the same looking.  makes me feel like im in florida
