Well i looked through all of the past posts and couldn't find info on this. I'm curious as to where I can aquire a BrenTen. I know they are fairly rare and most likely expensive. If someone could give me some info on price and how to locate a seller it would be much appreciated. And yes i have seen the Jeff Cooper comm. on gunsamerica.com for 7500 bucks and i think that is a bit much for a pistol. Thanks in advance.

Ahh, well there in lies the trick of it. You see the Bren Ten's are relatively rare- they only made circa 1,500 of them. And some of those were in a different size, or make to the Standard 10mm Auto Version that was used by Sonny Crockett (yes yes he used a blank firer in .45 for the tv show but they are even rarer with only 250 dedicated models made) So you have to do your home work - figure out what is a fair proce for what you want and go out and hunt for it. You are better to assess a deal from a distance then start asking for one-people may add $$$ to the price if they think you are desperate to buy. or
Advertise them all the time. The Jeff Cooper Commerative currently for sale has a number of things going for it - the seller is a trustable source. And it's an original. UNLIKE the recent Jeff Cooper Commerative that was advertised for $20,000 recently and was a fake. It's a jungle out there - so good luck.

S&W4506, Bren prices do appear to have increased recently-no doubt the release of MV on dvd and the new MV film is having some effect. But you should be able to get a Bren Ten in good condition for well below $5,000.00 Just keep looking and you will find some = they do come up for sale now and then.

220BrenTen, try a publication called "The Shotgun News" (should be available at local grocery store).....it's basically a "swap sheet" for guns and I've seen Bret Tens there before. Good Luck!

I have an airsoft replica Bren Ten. Didn't cost anywhere near $5000. The effect is great if you're not looking for a real firearm.

I own one, paid $1500 for it 6 years ago...prices are up and down.
Mags: gun came with one, bought 2 more for $110 apiece...
I have box, manual, spare parts, Norma ammo (4 boxes of it, not to shoot but to collect), 1984 catalog, gunrug, etc.
I also paid $150 to have slide chromed 5 years ago....1 year after I bought it.
And I have a Ted Blocker Lifeline holster for it...like on Season 1 into midway of Season 2. Galco Jackass/Miami Classic holster is nearly impossible to find, more rare than the gun itself.
Airsoft BB gun? No thanks for me...only the real deal is how I go.

Keep checking Gunsamerica for a Bren Ten. There as not been a Bren Ten for sale on gunsamerica.com (other than the overpriced Jeff Cooper model) in a long time. About three weeks ago there was a 45 Bren Ten Marksman on gunbroker.com. The first bid was $970 and it sold for around $1,300.

You may have already checked this, but what about
Good luck! Personally, I'd love to find one, too. I'm a Glock Girl, but a Bren Ten, would be a nice addition to my little collection.

Man JSCrockett! You are soo lucky! I finally found the white linen suit( to me the most important part), white espadrille-like shoes and plain pastel T-shirts for 100 Euros total, and now Iīm looking for the final complements: shield, gun and holster. The problem is I live in a small Spanish town and in the few gun shops there is they donīt have any idea of what a Bren Ten or S&W look like. Iīm looking for an airsoft gun(I like guns, but only for shooting practice) and by the way, what does BB stand for? This post is really for Spanish Vicers, like Gina but, are there more Spanish members who can give me any tips on this? I guess Iīll have to go to Madrid or any other big city to find it. Oh well, itīll be worth it.

BB stands for ball bearing. So it's legal to own firearms in Spain? I know that Europe is really restrictive, but I never assume that every country has an out-right ban. A few years ago I heard that's illegal to own pistols and rifles in Greece, but you can buy as many shotguns as you want to. |

Yes Slick Nick, itīs legal to own firearms, but I think itīs harder than in the States. Donīt take my word on it, but I think in Spain the people that own guns(other than police oficers) are, mainly, hunters.
Excuse my ignorance but, what is "ball bearing"? Is it guns with little bullets shaped like a ball? If so, itīs like in Spain, where we have "pistolas de aire comprimido"(compressed air guns) and "pistolas de balines"(little bullets guns). I think the "compressed air guns" are like "airsoft guns" and reach further but Iīm not sure. As I said, Iīd like to get in the (aim) shooting world but right now Iīm an ignorant as far as that topic is concerned.

Ball Bearings are circular metal balls. Produced initially in the early 20th Century to act as a liquid barried for working machine parts; they were also able to be fired with some accuracy although limited velocity out of air pistols.
Howvere the government have for once and for all ended the deabte on gun control-here we have a pacifists wet dream Total and utter ban on hand guns. What they do NOT publicise is that SINCE the ban on handguns, handgun related crime and death has increased by almost 70% a year based on the governments own figures. Prove if it were again needed that Gun control does NOT work-unless you are Hitler!

I owned one years ago, I paid $1500. I would never pay 5000$ for one. I collect firearms and the plain truth is that this is a very low quality gun that only cost about 300$ when it was new. It's basically a piece of junk, with many flaws, anyone who say different doesn't know guns. Although I suppose as a collector gun some people might like to own "Sonny's Gun". But as far as shooting it, it's a piece of poorly made of hardware.
