I got it through time warner they play vice at 8:00 and rerun it a few times that night, they are starting with season 1 and going in chronological order I can't wait till they start up with season 3 since I own both 1 and 2 on DVD.

Seems like a cool channel hopefullu they don't kill it with two many damn commericals like TV Land does.

The pilot was shown on 1/2/2006 as part of TVLands first on the first (although it was 2nd of Jan.). They were showing the first episodes of many of the shows they run on TV Land. I just wonder if the weekend slot for MV has anything to do with that Sleuth channel that NBC/Universal is launching to Time Warners subscribers. It could be that Sleuth has the Week day showings Exclusive. Anybody get Time-Warner? Sleuth isn't on my Insight cable yet, but I heard Sleuth was going to be showing crime shows including Miami Vice when it launched in Jan 2006. Just a thought.

1/2/06
 1:00 Am Brothers Keeper (part 1)
 2:00 am Brothers Keeper (part 2)

1/7/06
 2:00 am Heart of Darkness
 3:00 am Cool Runnin'
12:00 pm Hit List (calderon's return pt. 1)
 1:00 pm Calderon's Deminse (pt. 2)

Lets see.  aside from the pilot being a one-night deal, should take a couple months to get to season 3...since I have worn s1 and s2 out on the DVD player.....

Maybe Vice is better off, in the weee hours, then they wont "cut"

as much "action" out and put in more ads, It will be interesting

to compare what Ive been seeing, all these years on

censored TV, with what was really there on DVD.

I wrote 2 emails to TV land requesting prime time for the upcoming showings in January, I explained that MV was much too special and important to have it on at the wee hours when everybody is sleeping, so, let's hope many of us here write to them also

Well remember Miami Vice isn't excatly family friendly or what TVLand would call family hour television. 7PM would be a bit early as kids are usually still up. I never did hear when it was going to air, all I got was it was joining the lineup in Janurary. What time are they putting it on?

I just got confirmation today. My season 2 DVD set shiped from Universalhome videos yesterday according to fedex it's in transit expected by Dec. 14th at the latest Yipee!

Sorry, anything after 11pm and before 7am doesn't count in my book as being "back on tv".

This is a slap in the face - tvland shouldn't even bother. This show needs prime exposure again, like it used to have on TNN.

Ahh another morning made perfect by Vice. This is great, we got the season 2 coming in a few days, a marathon right now(I'm taping them all), and in January, TVland is gonna be packed full of Vice.

 

Life is good Vicers!

Enjoy the rest of the marathon. This is the best day of the year so far.
