Top to bottom: Saiga .308 (Russian, shoots .308 winchester); AMD-65 (Hungarian AK-47) and SAR -1 (Romanian AK-47).

About starting your own handgun collection, depending on where you live in the United States, you just buy the gun and go through an FFL agent who submits your information to the FBI, I believe. If you have a clean record, no problem.
Are you referring to getting your FFL so you can buy and sell?
