Thanks for the interesting videos, SoFlaJeremy, especially Sinatra as Tony Rome. As you probably know, I'm a big Sinatra fan!

here is a cool link with some vintage viseo regarding Miami including behind the scenes of Frank Sinatra shooting Tony Rome in 1967 at the 5th Street Gym.  Jerry Lewis behind the scenes at the making of Bellboy, and even a news editorial complaining about scarface and the impact the image may have on Miami.http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=wolfsonarchive#g/u

Since most was in Ft. lauderdale, the building exteriors could also be anywhere in South Florida such as west palm.

re: 1  Good question I have been wondering that myself but have only had  a chance to investigate very briefly.  If anyone knows the location I would love to check it out    The Mansion on the canal is also a mystery to me but the buildings in the bg should be enough that we could figure it out.

Yeah a great start but far from complete. Speaking of Frank how about "a hole in the head" with great sobe location filming.

A good list but incomplete. Three examples come to mind: Tony Rome with Frank Sinatra, 1967, Surfside Six with Troy Donahue, 1960-62 (TV), and The Jackie Gleason Show 1964-70 (TV).
