I would if I could but I have not sussed that out yet. I do know I have been in every nook and cranny of the studio inside and out and that background is not anywhere at the studio.

I believe the reason you can't line up the buildings correctly is that you are in the wrong location. That scene was not filmed at Greenwich. |

I forgot to mention that in that shot where you see the truck with the building behind it, you can just barely see above the warehouse building, the top of a white building that looks like one of the apartment or condo buildings in that block in which greenwich sits. The only problem is, there appears to be more than one of these buildings on the block which all look the same and match the distinctive design of the building you just see part of in this episode. Thanks, again! Lt. Gilmore "He has a taste for prime cuts, and his sneaker size is 10D."

In the teaser, they show the semi truck next to a warehouse looking building that is supposed to be part of greenwich studios. I've looked at the building and I can't seem to find a part of it that matches the roofline and other characteristics perfectly. Can anyone tell me which part of greenwich it is? Thanks! Lt. Gilmore "He has a taste for prime cuts, and his sneaker size is 10D."

Yellow area is area where gun fight occurs Light green rectangle is position of limo. Gate can be seen in a couple of the shots. Bad guys get out and walk to the rear, north ( green arrow. W. Nelson walks south to meet them , white arrow, Crockett the blue arrow comes in from the north northwest and positions himself behind a small tree. Meeting takes place in the pink box and nelson dies along the side of the road at the start of the curve It is only when they park and exit the limo that they are at the entrance gate, The first couple of cuts as the limo is moving are along the nort south rd north of the red x in the center of picture. They are headed southbound and at a couple of quick points you can see the partially hidden care takers building.

The fact that there were no other boats at bayside in the teaser and it appears about 80 to 90 percent complete would indicate that for some reason the marina was closed and all the boats sent on their way at this time hence the relocation of the st vitas dance

Sunday night was a warm and peaceful night on Watson Island where Dan J and I were able to enjoy the same relaxing view that c+t enjoyed some 20 plus years ago. Still sweet. Here is a view from the st vitas dock. |

Dan J and I went out on Watson Island Sunday. We used still shots and a portable dvd player to suss out the exact location of the st vitas dance in El Viejo. In a rare case there were multiple objects visible in a line that allowed us to triangulate the exact location of the st vitas. For example the channel marker to the buildings in the bg allowed us to draw a straight line that traced back to the boat. We just lined up several of these lines and all came back to the same slip. The fifth one from the south. |

It was French Twist that was filmed at Villa Regina on Brickell. Given the Bayside construction we saw in Better Living Through Chemistry, maybe that made it inaccessible? Or perhaps it was not so much inaccessible (since they filmed the El Viejo night scene there) as much as it was too "ugly" for daytime viewing. |

Makes me wonder why the change from Miami Marina? Was it no longer available to the film crew after Bayside was built, or what?
I also recall some ep's toward the end of S2 where the St. Vitus is located at the Villa Regina marina - same deal - did Miamarina suddenly become unavailable? Until someone sheds some light on this, I can't imagine the decision to change the St. Vitus' location was an accident. |

airtommy - the limo scene pulling into the hotel does seem to be the Definately Miami Hotel - as are the swimming pool scenes again appear to be the Def/Miami Pool.
The car shootout scenes where the van opens fire on C&T is shot on the Rickenbacker Cswy |

Ref Bayside Marina ( teaser - Marina Night Scene)
There are very few other possibilities which marina it could have been -
Miami Beach Marina doesnt have them wooden boards , it certainly wasnt Watson Is ... only other possibilities Dinner Key Marina (Cocunut Grove) as far as I know they never actually filmed there in the marina ( except establishing shots at the beginning of "Whatver Works" and "Forgive Us Our Debts", also seen in "By Hooker, By Crook".)
